Very creaky, damp, old hotel with no lift and plenty of stairs! Definitely in need of a lot of TLC and definitely a new manager! The manager was constantly looking over everyone’s shoulder and we witnessed her shouting at multiple members of staff whilst we were there. Booked around 10 rooms in total,1 of which had empty beer cans in the drawers when we checked in and another room was leaking from the roof quite badly 🤦🏼♂️ We attended a function there with over 60 people and will not be returning, food and staff were nice... read more
My 2 daughters and I went for lunch, all 3 of us had the soup and sandwiches, the food was delicious, lovely surroundings, enjoyed drinks, all in all a really enjoyable afternoon!!,. Staff very friendly and helpful, toilets clean and checked regularly, and a quick recommendation??, if available, have the lentil soup, you won't be disappointed!!
