The customer service in this shop was genuinely disappointing. The staff member cleaning appeared extremely unwelcoming and hostile from the moment we entered. As potential customers simply browsing, we felt as though our presence was an inconvenience rather than welcomed. We were abruptly shooed out by a staff member because my child was holding a lolly. There was no polite request, no explanation, just dismissive gestures and rude door motions. What made it worse was that she deliberately chose not to communicate in English, instead speaking and gesturing in a way that felt intentionally exclusionary, as if I wouldn’t understand anyway. I went in and tried an apron style pinafore on which was on sale and therefore on a sale rack outside at the front of the store. The kind of garment you wear over the top of another, so no reason to undress, I was able to slip it over the top of my own linen dress, which is how I would wear it. I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this boutique. While the shop itself is nice, the customer service was absolutely appalling. The staff were extremely rude, offering no assistance but instead following my family and me around as if we were thieves. It was insulting and uncomfortable. My young niece and sister, who were unaware of this overbearing surveillance and the death stares from staff, decided to buy three cakes of soap. Dreadful experience commencing with the exceedingly rude staff and overpriced items. I am generally not in the habit of leaving poor reviews, however our experience at this shop warranted negative feedback. Pro tip - skip this business, save your money and shop online! We do NOT recommend this shop and, as a consequence, we will be disseminating our unhappy experience to others.
