Interesting story: a year and a half ago, this company reached out to me (once again: THEY reached out to ME) to perform for their New York Pride celebration. I quoted them what I thought was fair for a nightlife performer of four years with a title. They waited weeks before I was the one to check in again, and they told me that they ran out of money and decided they couldn’t use me in their show.
