My husband was admitted here following a long spell in hospital where his dementia had escalated and following a hip fracture needed a hoist to transfer from bed to chair etc In hospital he had stopped eating unless I actually spoon fed him The staff at Peele are amazing everyone of them Malcolm now feeds himself enjoys his food It is all made on the premises to a very high standard He sits at a table with other patients eats and chats away His eyes were previously blank and now they shine with happiness He loves living ther... read more

The place is appalling, there's no communication or feedback on parents well being, staff don't communicate to each other. The telephone system is useless, 90% of the time it goes to answer machine, so booking an appointment to see your mum/dad is near impossible especially at weekends. My mum when we do manage to get in is usually dressed in some other persons clothes
