Hotel is fine. Have stayed here many times and would recommend it. My review is specifically to express dissatisfaction with the spa experience that I had. I had a manicure and pedicure and spent $380+. The technician had shaky hands and the shellac polish was put on very thick. About an hour after my service was done and I had left the spa, the gel polish started lifting on my toe nails and 5 of them peeled off almost instantly. Stay in Telluride. The Peaks is a 50% higher price.
We visited Telluride in the summer. The rooms at Peaks are very outdated and were very hot day and night, and only some rooms have AC. The bed, pillows, and bedding are also very uncomfortable. The rooms are not well configured for technology - very few outlets for charging, and the ones they have are either across the room from the bed or behind a couch. The only reason to stay here is to golf (which is a good reason).
