While leaving the spa my son was wearing slippers from spa back to room in the hotel. We were stopped by a staff member and told the slippers could not leave the spa. Instead of asking us to be sure to return the slippers she had him remove them right there and walk barefoot back to the room. That’s no way to treat your guests. Shameful.
The concierge was incredibly rude to my adult son and his girlfriend. They approached her to ask a question. She LITERALLY did not say "hello" or ask "how can I help". She opened her arms ,stared with an unhappy look as if she was some sort of monarch waiting for them to kiss her ring and waited for their question. Her answer was rude as well. While the property has several positive attributes, there are areas that would benefit from improvement. The guest rooms appear dated and are in need of updating. The thermostats allow only limited functionality which essentially means heat on or off. This makes maintaining a comfortable room temperature challenging. Additionally, the beds and pillows do not feel commensurate with the price point of the accommodations. Not quite a perfect stay, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well accommodated when skiing was only available for a small portion of our vacation. The location is as good as it gets if you plan to ski, spa facilities are world class, and staff is A+! Thank you!
I called and spoke to the spa front desk and explained my situation and that my daughter was required to do a workout for her coach and asked about day pass options for their gym. She gave me the break down for day passes based on age and price, and then told me gym hours. I explained to her what my daughter did, her age and that my daughter just needed a tread and we’d be there tomorrow .
