The staff is very friendly and welcoming which makes a great first impression. The lobby bar served excellent drinks and fun snacks and the history of the hotel is fascinating. The famous duck march is certainly a unique experience and worth seeing. That said the hotel is clearly showing its age. The room itself was comfortable but the bathroom felt thrown together with paint over the hinges that squeaked every time you opened the door and some missing trim around the doorways.
