We went to The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm for a fairly simple estate plan, and they handled it beautifully. There were no surprises in billing, and their patience with all our questions was outstanding. They have a nice business model of checking in with clients every 3 years which I think is important. Everyone working there is professional and knowledgeable.
We had a great experience with this firm. Many families choose to set up Living Trusts to avoid probate, but all assets must be moved into the Trust and/or the Trust must be the beneficiary in order for this to work properly. The PEP firm not only creates all of the legal documents, they also include detailed instructions on what needs to be done for every type of account that you might have (retirement, brokerage, HSA, life insurance, bank, etc).
