Shop owner was super cool and friendly. Had no idea on how to fish for trout in the local lakes and he was quick and knowledgeable to share some secrets on how he gets the job done and how to do certain line ties. Very helpful. Very nice guy. Loved the shop to as well as the owner. Super friendly, and he definitely helped me and my girlfriend catch a ton of trout. God bless him.
This place is awesome!! Highly recommend! I asked the owner of the store what I needed to help catch trout in Pearrygin Lake, he was very friendly and showed me immediately what to buy and what would work. The stuff worked too!! Check out the pictures. We came back the next day and showed the photos, before we left, the owner came out and gave us a free sticker! Not a friendly guy at the front desk. I was minding my business picking out flies that I wanted when the guy asked me to stop “playing” with the flies even though I was picking them out the way he told me to and my intentions were to buy them. He also asked if I was going to buy them in a very condescending way. This upset me very much so I started to put the flies back and he told me that once I touch them, I have to buy them which really got me mad. I do not recommend.
Young kid not very knowledgeable about what fly were best for area, had little advice other than the fly prices were changing due to tariffs. I never questioned prices.
