The Opus Spa is lovely hidden gem spa in Westchester! This was my first experience at this spa. I decided to treat myself for my birthday with a deep tissue massage. I'll give a full breakdown on my experience: The Massage (5/5) I did the 60 deep tissue massage with Hope and it was amazing! It was my first time getting a deep tissue massage and Hope checked in on me multiple times to make sure I wasn't experiencing and discomfort with the pressure. False advertising. They claim they have a heated pool but the water was really cold. Pool attendant and spa staff said that it was supposed to be at 84 degrees, but I highly doubt it was even that. (I had goosebumps in the water) I also question the cleanliness of the spa. I received a wet/used robe as if it was new. Not worth the value at all for the resort pass.
Just fantastic. Had a 90-minute deep tissue massage scheduled and had the pleasure of having Louisa as my masseuse and she did an amazing job. So often, deep tissue massages are done improperly being too rough but I’m still left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed! I would 100% book again just to have Louisa again! I've had many excellent experiences here, but have found that the treatments are a little inconsistent lately. The staff is delightful and very professional. But the quality of the massages is not always what it used to be. They also don't give you a choice on the gratuity. You can't decide what you want to tip. At this price point, that's frustrating. That defeats the purpose of the tip. They should just charge $300 for the massage and stop calling it something else.
