Wir hatten eine tolle Erfahrung mit diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus. Besonders sind hier die Gastgeber Adrian und insbesondere Gail hervorzuheben. Einen solchen Service uns stetige Freundlichkeit habe ich selten erlebt. Zu jederzeit waren die beiden zu erreichen und haben tolle Tipps zum erkunden der Gegend gegeben. Auch die Geschenke zum Auftakt des Urlaubs waren toll! Ich würde dieses Ferienhaus mehr als empfehlen für einen wunderbaren Urlaub in einer ruhigen Gegend. We had the most amazing time. Adrian and Gail are friendly and super welcoming.not only to us but also to our wee beastie 🦮. Each day we walked and took day’s out exploring. Conquering the walls of old ruins. Love the history and castles 🏰 , so much to explore. Then back food from local restaurants and chilling in the evenings. Comfortable and cosy sleeps . We had another wonderful stay at the Old Smithy! We were warmly welcomed back by the owner Gail. She has thought of everything to make out stay memorable and enjoyable! The Old Smithy is a home from home; comfortable, welcoming and an incredibly well equipped holiday home! The location is perfect,a short drive from the lovely little town of Kelso with a variety of shops and places to eat and so much going on throughout the year! This was our second trip to the Old Smithy and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
