My mum has been here a few months now and I wish I could move in myself. The staff are amazing so friendly and you can tell they love their job. If there’s one word I could round it up it would be peaceful. It’s always so quiet and peaceful light music in the back ground. It’s always spotless and smells fresh. My mum has her good and bad days but mostly good since she’s been living here. Oaks is the perfect place for mum.
Absolutely awful. Would not recommend this care home. If you want your love one to miss out on getting their medication, or to have a fall and not be informed about it, or for the incident to even be referred to safe guarding then this is the place for you. A staff member was suspended due to not reporting a fall or letting other staff know of the incident, which resulted in a hospital admission! Don’t ever see any staff working on Acorn up, pretty much left to their own devices all day. Absolute shambles! AVOID!!
Ive been in this care home and the care staff were all very helpful and really nice thanks for making my stay pleasent. Best regards Grace Fearn
