Don't ever write food reviews because normally they are great and we are a long standing customer. But their chicken and leek pie was beyond their normal standard.No white sauce/gravy, no leek that could be found and no other vege in it.First time i felt like asking for a refund .Unfortunately we will give the bistro a break for a while
Updated july 2026 The new kitchen has opened, but dont bother coming until all renovations are done. No seating available, only in the sports bar or outside which is freezing being winter and if you are not a fan of gambling you are eating in the tab room with big screens of horse/dog racing and rowdy locals all crammed into one tiny space which was just as cold as outside as there was no heating inside. It took 30 minutes to get a snitzel. I will give it one last chance when renovations are complete. Update, September 2025.... read more
