Clean, well staffed, great amenities, lots of daily activities, good food at the restaurants
The Oaks was very impressive when we visited and walked through. They seem to offer so many amenities. However, the assisted living care was not up to expectations. They were all very friendly and nice, however, they were lacking in timely support. Unsettling when it is needed
The quality of the food they are serving has gone way down hill. For the money we are paying it is a joke. They raise rent and lower the quality of the service. This is what they are serving to the residents. Horrible!!
I am at the beginning phase of moving my brother to assisted living. I visited 10 locations and the Oaks of Algonquin far exceeded my expectations. The building is beautiful, the amenities are amazing, the staff and residents that I met were so nice. The residents that I saw out and about told me how much they liked the place. My brother is moving in next month!!!! I am updating my review now that my brother has been there for 7 weeks.
