Ashley Britt is the one RN that stood out to me usually you go to rehab. you don't want to be their but Ashley make it ok, by being friendly and caring about her patients. She is avery great nurse and pleasant person.

I spent close to a month at The Newport for rehab. I found the staff to be caring, attentive, and undermanned. PT (Ellen) and OT (Angel) were exceptional and proactive, with sessions 5 times a week and sometimes there were PT/OT techs on site Saturdays and/or Sundays. Sure there were times things fell between the cracks, and having a spouse as advocate to take care of such things is a blessing. I fell and my wife was notified immediately. So if you have a loved one that needs to go to a facility for rehab and nursing skills this is a place to go. My mom’s been here three times because of false and she’s doing quite well now over at the Huntington.

I came here in pretty bad shape coming from the hospital. I found really nice therapists to work with and I made a lot of progress. I've even explored getting rid of my cane since coming. There is never a lack of understanding. I've made more progress with Ellen and Marlena than any other Rehab I have been to. Thank you to the Newport staff.
