Still a staple in the neighborhood
I recently visited The New Eastside Market and it left a great impression. The store is clean and well-organized, with a wide selection of everyday groceries, fresh produce, and household essentials. I especially appreciated their well-stocked deli and bakery sections—everything looked fresh and inviting. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to answer questions or locate items. It's not like the 90s, but it is a grocery store. A market will be more like West 25th if you looking for something like that. This is pretty much a shadow of the past and just a grocery store. It is dark bare minimumand keeping the area from being a food desert. I'm glad it's here for the locals. They do need more food.
Nothing to write home about. But it gets the job done.
