Why give to an organization that turns over land to ranchers. What am I talking about? Google: Scott Surgent Hidalgo County Highpoint Information. Go to Scott's website for an explanation. While I'm pro-conservation, a New Mexican and an avid hiker I've completely lost faith in conservation organizations and refuse to support any of them. Conservation land bought with donations then turned over to ranching interests is NOT conservation. I've walked across too many BLM and other public lands that allow cattle grazing all the ... read more
