I worked with a loan officer here who Pre-Qualified a Buyer erroneously. The buyer stated that she was "friends" with the Lender, which should have been my first Red flag. I was not aware until 2 weeks before the closing that the buyers were not really "approved" because they hadn't completed their 2020 taxes, which were due 4 months earlier.
