A really terrible place. Although the doctors are good, the service is really bad. The tiniest thing can take months of your life because you are always trying to make an appointment but to no avail. The tests need to be done again and again becausr they can almost never get them done properly at once.

Although the doctors and pharmacist ARE GOOD in this practice, the reception and administrative side of it, is completely appalling!!! ‘No can do’ is their automatic response to everything! Inquiring about a smoke cessation service advertised on their board as something they provide I was told I have to find a pharmacy that does it ‘yeah we don’t do it here’ I was told. I had an appointment with a GP at Montpelier. I just finished my last night shift, so I might have been agitated because of that already, however… It was my first time attending this GP and I had a very bad experience. He was firstly 25 minutes late for the appointment and rather than listening to me and trying to think with me, it was his way of thinking only, which just had to be followed as well. Brilliantly helpful staff and compassionate doctors and nurses. If able to call at 8 they will almost always have an appointment, if not they do their best to be accommodating. The nurses especially are lovely and knowledgeable! Highly recommend.

I have called today at 8:20 to book an appointment with a GP and spoke with someone called Karen. Being 23 weeks pregnant I needed to see a doctor but I have been told that 8:20 is too late for me to make an appointment and all she can offer is for me to sit and wait until I can be seen. I asked, if it’s possible for GP to give me a call back and her blunt response was simply <no>.
