Terribly rude man, who I believe is the owner. I’ve given this deli two chances now. The first time, he was chatting with a friend and didn’t acknowledge me at all — no hello, no eye contact, and no pause in the conversation. I genuinely considered walking out without completing the purchase. Today was similar. He served me while on the phone having a personal conversation, again without any greeting or thanks. Place is no good go anywhere but here. Poor nice ladies working here having to deal with a grumpy man who clearly doesnt know how to run a business.
Had the La Bella Vista Panini. Nice fresh bread ,fresh ingredients. Hidden gem. I'd write more, but im 2 bites in and want to finish this beauty. Will be visiting again
This place has really improved, I need to upgrade my review. Previously I had been very put out when they closed early one day and shut the roller door in my face. Lately, I’ve been frequently coming because they have all the Hellenic specialties that are hard to find elsewhere. Paul, the manager in charge the deli has been really focusing on supplying great cheeses, olives, olive oil, and all those Greek comfort foods that taste like Yiayia’s house - great food, deserves a re-rating.
