Went to the Melasma clinic and saw dr vee, paid 230 dollars for the consultation. Doctor didn’t bother to do any skin check ups and use any tool to see my problem skin. I insisted and told her that I have foundation so pls remove and check it properly then she asked me to lie down but again no photos done to discuss the problem. Just told me to do pico laser for 3 sessions for nearly 2000 dollars and those 230 dollars won’t go towards the treatment. Went to see Dr Lim recently - he truly knows his stuff. very straightforward consult and treatment. Trust him to be logical and informed with decisions made.
I had very disappointing experience with this clinic last year. Dr Lim referred me another dermatologist, saying treatment would cost more if done with him, yet they still proceeded with Q- switch laser that made my melasma significantly worse. At my follow up, I was told they only used the Q-Switch laser because they did not have a Pico laser available, which was never communicated beforehand. Their conduct was unprofessional, careless and unreliable. I cannot place trust in their care and do not recommend them at all.
