good meat The Meat Market is a small food store in Winthrop Center. The focus, logically enough, is on meat, but the store also stocks some food items (pasta, sauces, fresh bread). I have mostly purchased marinated steak tips from here, which are delicious and prevent me from branching out to try something new. The store is small enough that you can easily get to know and trust the people who cut your meat for you. Recommended.
A real butcher! Who'd have thunk?! This is some of the freshest meat I've ever tasted, and the quality is primetime. I've not run into a single piece of meat that was fatty, dry or bland. They also have numerous sausages available AND numerous take-home dinners prepared on site that you only have to heat. Naturally, none of this comes cheap, but when you're looking for quality over quantity, this is definitely THE place.
Nice Meat Market We stopped here when we were passing through. It was a nice place. So clean you would not believe. Their meats were really fresh and the prices were not bad. The employees were helpful and friendly. The day we went there were some people there but not overwhelming. I would definetely recommend it.
Old fashioned butcher shop If you have only purchased meat at your local grocery store you don't know what you are missing. The Meat Market has freshly butchered beef and poultry for sale. I order my corned beef there for St. Patrick's day and my Turkey there for Thanksgiving. Splurging for steaks is a monthly treat.
