This morning I visited one of Maine's newest cross country ski areas, the Maine Outdoor Wellness Center! You sign in in the newly built lodge which also has a donation box, trail info, merchandise for sale, and rental equipment available by donation. Across the parking lot from the lodge was a barn filled with sheep and their very friendly guard dog! The trails were very slick and fast after the recent weather and were quite fun.
