We used the Maine Children’s home for building our family through private adoption. We started with the information session and worked with their agency from start to finish. We adopted internationally and this is the only Hague accredited agency in the state of Maine, to my knowledge. The entire staff was efficient, friendly, caring, and professional throughout the entire lengthy process, including post-placement. They helped navigate us through the complex process and helped in anyway needed.

We used Maine Children’s home for our home study visits for our international adoption. We worked with them over the course of the last 7 years and they have always been very helpful and there for us with any questions we had along the way. They worked with us to provide home studies for Bulgaria to the countries specifications and on a very strict timeline. Their help made our adoption journey possible!
