Bacon was disgusting! We bought the cured bacon that was hanging up. It smelled bad when it was cooking and tasted awful . I think we should have just eaten the $10.00 it cost to buy the half pound of cured bacon. Very expensive to taste so awful. On the other hand, folks had a lot of smiles for the cute raccoon hat we picked up for our infant grandson. Sure wish we hadn't purchased that bacon though. Yuck.
Good Store to Buy Gifts This unique store is a good one to visit if you're thinking of buying gifts for someone which have a Virginia flavor. There is a good variety there and they are reasonably priced.
Fantastic This store is fantastic for any and everything Virginia! My husband loves the different types of BBQ sauses and all of the spice jars that are offered.
Unique gifts and food This store features products which are "Made in Virginia" from peanuts to pottery, from hams to bacon. It is unique and lots of fun to browse whether you have a purpose in mind or not. If you are looking for a specific item produced in Va. try this store. It is not the cheapest store around for everything but if you want to purchase it locally rather than ordering or going to get it, they may well have what you need.
