We live just 17 miles away but and we love to go to the lodge for a drink and a meal esp when it's a buffet.... excellent food and great service.
We went to the Lodge to celebrate and have a fancy dinner or so we thought. The waitresses was kind and friendly, and the menu sounded good till we were told they were out of steaks. Not much else on the menu sounded good. So I ordered the Asian shrimp special, and my girlfriend ordered the the Salmon. The food came to the table after a long wait. The Lodge has been our go to place for many, many years for our wedding anniversary. So very romantic. We celebrated our 37 th there this weekend. Not sure what we will do going forward as job is taking us to Victoria, Texas. 700 miles away. I am sure we will get here from time to time- just not every year. We will always love the romance of the Lodge and exquisite dining of Rebecca's.
