You walk in and you are about to walk out, with its truckhouse smell and service you dont know what you have gotten yourself into. Then you order food and you are blown away. The potatoes are amazing and the breakfast is outstanding. This building is old (used to be a comedy club) and has many regulars. it is not for everyone but if you love breakfast, go.

Even though the ambiance lacks appeal, the food and the service were great! Two people could share one meal and have enough left for a "doggy bag".Shawn
Not every restaurant has forgotten that meals used to be served in courses, to make the meal an experience. I have enjoyed the Lincoln Restaurant for over 2 years, I moved away from the neighborhood, and I still drive back for a great breakfast or a relaxing dinner. Large portions, good prices, good food. Friendly staff.
My sweetie and I decided to eat here, she loves History and thought it would be cute, and almost walked out. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired and the names of the dishes were a little daunting to me, seeing as I am a black woman. There were plantation dishes, confederate dishes, it just wasnt appealing to me. I doubt very highly that we would ever go back there. The food was mediocre.
