The theater is the perfect size for community shows. It is old yet kept up so that it just feels so endearing! We love our dates here, and our kids enjoy it as well.
I saw Oklahoma at this theater. It was absolutely wonderful.
I'm rewriting my review and adding back that 5th star after seeing their production of "Into the Woods" tonight. After an unfortunate series of plays that relied almost solely on a rear video screen for scenery and used hardly any props at all, I'm very happy to see actual sets and props are back at Liberty Theater. My wife and I first saw "Into the Woods" on Broadway in NYC several years ago. The Manestage players did it justice. A beautiful old theater in downtown Puyallup, The Liberty Theater has a lot of history. Since 2018 it’s been home to ManeStage Theater Comapny, delighting patrons with top-tier plays and musicals every season which feature an incredible array of local talent.
