If you've already hired him, I suggest Insisting on a detailed itemized bill for how hours and when hours were spent. He did not provide this when I asked, but there was some effort shown after the request. In short, I paid $2.5k with the expectation he would at least show up to court. Shortly before the court date, he advised that I would be getting another bill for him showing up to court.
