I hired Newton for a contract dispute. I ended up having to use the Texas CAAP (Client Attorney Assistance Program) after I fired him to get my file back from him. It took months and months before Newton would return the file. I could not hire another attorney until Newton returned the file. I fired Newton because he did not handle the contract dispute I hired him to handle.
