Leaving a 1 star review for many reasons. A week before Hurricane Helene me and my fiance took out a 3k loan to pay to fight a much needed custody battle after finding out one of his “daughters” he helped raise for 8 years wasn’t his by a DNA test to give up rights to her, and to file for 50/50 to full custody on his oldest daughter. We paid Mark Upright $1k for him to write up the papers, he wrote up the papers carelessly with grammer issues for one, but failed to sign them up correctly as we stated. Mark was quick to respond and gave thorough advice over the phone. He made a very difficult time for me, easier to navigate with his expertise and insight.
I’m updating my post from my previous one. I want everyone to understand life isn’t easy no matter what situation you are put into. I want to apologize to Mark, for the negative review. I only done this because I did not know his full situation of what was going on with him. As of right now we are working together to take care of my Guardianship situation for my adult autistic sons. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Mr. Upright didn’t articulate well in court and missed many things that should have been addressed. Every document and email had numerous grammar and spelling mistakes . I feel sure if we had not retained a new attorney my son would have lost his case.
It made me give you at least one star but in truth you don't deserve that much credit. My wife and I paid you for your services and over a year later nothing not anything from you my wife has asked for the money back n your comment was im working on your case n will call you back in a few minutes to a day or two but you never call nor send us the money back we have waited over a year for you to call back.
