I put off seeing a lawyer about a problem but I finally couldn't ignore it any more. My only experience with lawyers before hasn't been very good so I was pretty nervous about making an appointment and having the meeting. But Don is a really nice guy and I instantly felt a lot better knowing that he was going to be on my side. I don't know yet how things are going to turn out but I have a lot more optimism about it than I have in a long time.
Sometimes I really hate being right. When it comes to my fiance for instance. I have often warned him about being a hothead that doesn't know when to shut up. Sure enough, his smart mouth got hom into hot water, and when someone called the police, he tried talking himself out of trouble but only dug a deeper hole. There's no doubt the charges are trumped up but now we're stuck cleaning up this mess. Good thing we were referred to Mr. Hammond for help.
