Ah yes, the Launceston Airport gift shop — the final boss of Tasmanian retail . It’s like every boutique in the state merged into one warm, wooden-shelved souvenir vortex. You walk in and suddenly you’re surrounded by the greatest hits of Tasmania: lavender soap, wallaby jerky, and honey so fancy it probably has its own Instagram account . Nice shop but the two store assistants on Wednesday were having a bit of a verbal brawl in front of customers… “I’ve had enough of your snarky comments” etc. 🤣🤣 I give three stars though as it was quite entertaining!! I feel sorry for them though - nothing worse than having to work with someone you don’t like…!! Probably not their fault… oil and water I guess!!
