Thank you so much Vanessa and Ginny!! You two are the best!! Anytime I have to take my mom out, either to a doctor’s appointment or to spend the night at my house, they always have everything mom needs( meds) and it’s ready for me! Both women are kind, loving and considerate! Since I wrote this review, The Landings has gone down hill!! Again they didn't learn from past mistakes with communication. Went there to see why Alexia wasn't working an was told by a aid that they were all pulled out of rooms per Legal for Corporate because of video Camaras on them. So no one called or emailed me to make us aware this happened. How about they gave us heads up so we could have bought a different device to use an get hooked up before they pulled the only life line these poor patients have to the family an friends they have. PSS: my father passed away this past Sunday morning and neither local management or the corporate office even bothered to reach out with any condolences or anything resembling humanity. Local management only recited that any “refund” would be handled by corporate. PS: please notice the “newest” counter-reviews just added in the last 24 hours - blowing rainbows up everyone’s butts - they are not even affiliated with Swansboro, NC facility!! FINAL POST- my father passed away here and I didn’t so much as get a courtesy call/condolences from The Landings- not the director, senior staff (oh wait - there isn’t a 2nd or 3rd in charge) or corporate. Glad that not another dime will go to this place! The one saving grace here was the work of Gentiva Hospice care - they were a god send to my family when this facility failed everything they claim to offer. Part 3 - left a message at the number provided by corporate for my concerns - NO CALL BACK. (It’s been several weeks)... read more
