Had a great couple of days on a multi-pitch course with Ben. He is very knowledgeable, explains things well and also shared lots of useful little tips that make things more efficient while keeping safe.
My partner and I had an incredible couple of days with Ben on a multi-pitch trad course. He was very knowledgeable and gave us the confidence to feel more safe when multi-pitch climbing. We learned a lot in the two days and climbed in some incredible locations in the lake district. The course was tailored exactly to our needs and took into account our previous experience and what we wanted to get out of the two days. Ben was super easy to get on with so along with everything above I would highly recommend him.
If you are looking for a guide, look no further. Ben is excellent. He has comprehensive knowledgeable of: Lake District climbing history, technical and physical components of climbing, and local routes. I'll be back for more.
We spent two days with Ben hiking, climbing and scrambling in The Lake District. From the start he was welcoming and easy to talk with. Bens knowledge and skill set are fantastic. He pushed us to try some things we wouldn’t ordinarily have done, reassuring and encouraging us along the way. I have already recommended him to a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. I really enjoyed doing the NNAS Bronze Award with Ben. The information he provided beforehand was clear; Ben created an enjoyable and relaxed learning environment; he catered well for members of the group with different ability levels; and there was a good mix between theory sessions inside and practical experience outside.
