My Mom's apt got broken into when she was sleeping Thur. night , Jan. 9, 2025. Malinka, interim director, never investigated nor got back to me. Ma is 83.5 yr old. Further, last May, Ma left there with cellulitis in both legs to be hospitalized because no one at Lafayette cared enough to check on her. She almost needed both legs amputated. Will be reporting this facility to KY attorney general.
My mother has lived at The Lafayette for about 3 years. She enjoys the warmth, comfort, and security provided by a wonderful and caring staff. I recommend The Lafayette highly.
One early evening two weeks ago, a staff person here used her key to enter my apartment without knocking and without my permission. She seemed startled to see me, and left immediately. I didn’t say a single word to her. I then sent an email,detailing this activity to the building manager. I received her response, also by email, a few hours later.
