My father was in the home for a short while from hospital he seemed very unsettled and sad and wanted me to take him home , he seemed to have a lot of bruises in the first week but nobody mentioned as to how he got them , I managed to transfer him to a better home but sadly died six months later but was happier, I noticed the place needed a facelift , staff seemed lovely, didn't seem very much to do except TV / music playing not much stimulation for dementia people 😞
my mum was in there last year had dementia.was in there less than a month fell 4 times broke her hip.had op.died 3 days later.place very dull for dementia patients.wasnt my choice to have her in there.there are better places.
