I always wanted to learn knitting, but they were not friendly at my local library. Please thank the ladies that helped me, and I do intend to follow up at the local Yarn store.

I started knitting earlier this year so it’s great to have a local knitting shop in the Catskills. And what a cozy place it is! The selection of yarns and notions is excellent. There is even a sitting area where you can work on your project while sipping on coffee or tea. The customer service is warm and friendly too.

Cutest small town yarn shop. Nice variety. Friendly staff. Very knowledgeable in all fiber fields.

My partner and I had such a lovely time visiting The Knitting Room and learning to knit with May and Lynne! They were both so friendly, welcoming, and patient & we were so glad to paticipate in their ‘knit a hat in an afternoon’ Airbnb experience. It was so cool leaving with our own hats that we (mostly) knit ourselves. The shop is beautiful too, with tons of colorful pretty yarn that is ethically sourced. We learned so much and hope to return someday!
