Hired Chris Kleister as my divorce lawyer approximately in august. had to let him go in November because of his lack of effort, to get anything accomplished in that time frame. i have nothng good to say about my experience except he has a good personality, Then you get screwed. i would hate for anybody to have to deal with this so If you need more of and explanation call me 718-734-8806
Unresponsive, unprofessional, and often standoffish. I hired him as my divorce attorney and as soon as my money was processed, he started lagging on response time- sometimes up to a full month. When confronted, i was told i was "not paying him enough to care" but for some reason he also refused to negotiate what i would need to pay him (beyond his $300/hr fee) to be more attentive. i stuck with it because i did not want to go through the hassle of finding another attorney, and he is local to the court where our divorce is p... read more

Mr. Kleister has always handled all of my legal issues with every level of professionalism. He is straight forward and lays out all your options. Best of all he is very fair and reasonable with his expenses. For anyone looking for an experienced lawyer this is the firm.
Unbelievably incompetent . With all the great reviews I thought for sure I had a great lawyer on my side , ended with him not even giving the correct email address to provide evidence after a 250$ 15 minute consultation followed by no reply for weeks after asking receptionist for correct email . Acts like better call Saul without the follow through .
