Down and Out in Banning I hired Mike Divita to help me file a Small Claims case...boy was that a mistake. I know that he wasn't an attorney, but he told me that he knew what he was doing and that he could help me win my case. Yeah, he helped himself to a credit card charge that was unauthorized. This guy just tries to get you to commit some money and then doesn't want to finish the job. He helped me write the small claims form and then he didn't get it served. I had to hire someone else, what a joke!
I see we are not the only ones who have been abused by Mr. Divita. We decided to go in a different direction and he reacted like a child throwing a tantrum. We received his bill which indicated payment to be sent within 10 days. Two days after we received his billing the harrassment started.. We did not use his services and I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to go elsewhere. He does not handle rejection well and his services were more expensive than an attorney. This guy is an absolute piece of dirt. He makes promises but only if you pay him up front or give him a deposit. After he receives your money he becomes "out of touch" and will not return phone calls or messages. Stay away, he's a cheat.

This is a small time operation that fails to keep it's clients in the loop and when they fail (see Better Business Reviews) the owner refuses to give back the money he charged me for failing to serve the defendant in my small claims action; in fact he failed to even notify me that he failed! The courthouse called me and told me he failed and I had to re-file my case and I've yet to get my money back.
