Well i don't know how good he is but...I called to get an appointment to meet with him and he asked for $2500 up front. . I was like "so you won't even look at the case or tell me where we stand its just $2500 to see you"?? hahahahaha yes ma'am you can think about it and call me back...Okay Thank you hahahha. Updated 02/20/25: 5 years later this guy replies pretending to remember how "upset" I was at the time of the call hahaha. John did an excellent job representing me in my court case. I found him to be honest, fair and easy to get a hold of when I had questions.
I was hopeful about working with John Day, but my experience was disappointing. After expressing my willingness to pay a $5,500 retainer, I requested a written agreement. Instead of accommodating my request, he accused me of sounding "sketchy" and suggested I find another attorney before abruptly hanging up. I thought my request was completely reasonable, so I was taken aback by his response. In hindsight, I’m glad I didn’t proceed with him, as his attitude raised serious concerns. This review is long overdue. Mr. Day is an outstanding attorney. When I had the pleasure of speaking with him, he was incredibly knowledgeable and professionally empathetic. He patiently listened to my concerns, provided exceptionally clear and helpful information, and gave me confidence on how to proceed. His excellent customer service and strong attention to detail were greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Mr. Day to anyone in my family or friends who might be in need of the legal expertise he provides.
