I HAVE BEEN CARING FOR MY 92YO MOTHER FOR MANY YEARS. SHE LIVED WITH ME UNTIL HER DEMENTIA ADVANCED AND SHE NEEDED TO BE PLACED. SHE HAS BEEN AT THE JEWISH HOME AND I AM SO PLEASED ON EVERY LEVEL WITH THE CARE. THE UNIT SHE IS ON IS PERFECT FOR HER, HER NEEDS ARE MET, THEY ARE ATTENTIVE AND SO WARM TOWARDS HER. THE STAFF WORK VERY HARD AND I AM SO GRATEFUL KNOWING SHE IS IN GOOD HANDS. I VISIT OFTEN AND THOUGH IT'S VERY EMOTIONAL WHEN PLACING A LOVED ONE IT IS WORKING OUT VERY WELL. Excellent Elder Care – Jewish Home and Hospital and its several campuses are among the best Jewish elder care anywhere n the NYC area. Their doctors and professional staff are knowledgeable and caring, and the facilities exude a warm caring environment for all.

Lost – Poor record-keeping by switchboard and security. They are often unable to locate residents or identify them as residents at all. They apparently lack the most elementary computer systems.
