My dad was a resident at the Inn for about 19 months. He loved it there. The staff was so friendly and caring and he received great care. They were very willing to work with us when temporary new issues came up without making a big fuss. Management was very friendly and approachable and easy to contact. Lots of great activities planned each month for the residents including field trips to shopping and cultural activities. Our mother realizes and appreciates the care she is receiving in her new home, The Inn at University Village. She moved just three weeks ago and said, "I have absolutely no complaints. It is so pretty, and I enjoy my fireplace. I appreciate the white tablecloths in the dining area." Yesterday, my sister and I were thrilled to hear her say that she enjoys sitting at a large table at lunch or dinner because she meets new residents. Moving one’s parent from their home to Assisted Living can be difficult on many levels. When I moved my Dad, it really did help that he was moving to such a beautifully kept facility. Once there ALL the staff from management, to the nursing staff, to all the employees were so friendly and kind. They are warm and helpful and treat the residents with dignity. I have been consistently impressed by and thankful for The Inn at University Village and all the staff there. My mother-in-law has resided there for approximately 10 months so far. She has numerous and complex medical issues, including dementia, and she does not have an accurate perception of her own health, mental health, and ability to take care of herself.
