Overall, good first impression.
We have been so pleased with Independence, Village of Waterford. They have done a wonderful job of making my dad feel welcomed and supported. The staff is caring, kind and works so hard to make sure all residents feel valued. And they work so hard to provide activities with a beautiful focus on having fun.
This company has an Invoice overdue by 268 days. Refuses to pay. Ignores emails. Doe's not call back. We have a show up fee and they did not notify us they were canceling. So we showed up ready to work and waited for a half hour to start. No one answered the phone. I would recommend taking payments upfront every single time before you show up and take the payments in full.
What a blessing! Our family lit-up upon arrival. The residents are vivacious and delightful. The staff is attentive and helpful. This is truly an all-inclusive community. Style, CLEAN, supportive, oh, so much more. The food, three meals a day served like a top notch restaurant and the food is delicious! Fresh food. We are recommending to everyone. And affordable. Everything is newly remodeled. The apartments are exactly what we needed and more. We never expected so much! We are so happy.
My sister really liked Independence Village of Waterford. Tiffany was GREAT. The rooms we saw were nice and had what she needs. The food served at lunch was quite good. The facility is undergoing some renovations, so some things are a little untidy right now (but hey, ya' can't make an omelet without breaking an egg). The facility could use another elevator for the residents. Other than that, it seemed like a good fit for my sister.
