If I could give this place no reviews at all I would but had to give a one start just to leave a review they are nasty though and through they have rats ,bedbugs ,roaches and ants all over the place they treat they staff like they disposable after over working them. They expect the staff to not build relationships with the residents. The administration there doesn’t give out any bonuses because they use the left over money for trips. My Mom was there from March - July this year. I was very hesitant since the place is very old and run down in some areas, but it was the only option. The staff is amazing! Cannot say enough about how caring, patient and respectful they all were. My Mom could not stand on her leg and was in bed most of the time. Everyone made her feel comfortable and not embarrassed. My husband was in strong for a month and they wanted to send him to a nursing home. I had heard terrible things about nursing homes so that didn't seem to be an option. One day they told me that they had an opening in the Hurlbut on East Henrietta Road. I read the reviews and they were so terrible that I knew I didn't want him to go there. Well let's just start by saying that I don't know about east Henrietta road but Penfield place is just as bad if not worse so in that case I would say stay away all together from the name it seems to be all the same and if you are out of pocket like my mom was at sixteen thousand a month the money won't be there for long.And since they take medical assistance you think the state would look at them for that price
