Where do I start. The teak is cheap. They delivered the wrong product. When I asked for the correct product he tried to blame me until I pulled the detailed receipt. He said I can fix the finish. I stupidly believed him. And they came out to fix the finish and broke the bench by over sanding and cracking it. The “fixing it” didn’t work and since then it’s been a year of unmet promises to come back and fix what Victor never delivered. Victor is a bad man. In 2022 I bought a teak table, 8 chairs and overall the quality is excellent. I’m shocked to see pictures on some of these reviews with certain pieces gray in color. When you buy teak, you need to treat it with wax every 6-9 months. I’ve done so ever since 2022 and all my pieces look brand new.
I had been thinking of refreshing my dining room and after seeing a teak table from House of Teak in a friend’s home, I made it a point to go by the store (old location). We were greeted by Vitor, whom took time to walk through the shop and explain the styles and process. I didn’t leave with a table, however upon returning home, I made a decision to buy. Great experience with Teak House! Excellent service, clear communication, and smooth delivery. Love the quality of my outdoor teak furniture. Highly recommend!
Warning: DON’T BUY From This Store I bought an outdoor teak table with four benches from House of Teak in September 2024 and paid 100% upfront. Delivery was promised in two months but didn’t happen until January 2025 after constant follow-ups. Two benches arrived at the wrong height, and despite repeated requests since January, almost a year later they still haven’t been replaced.
