Lost more money from my tenant as a result of hiring this firm. First I started a hold over case on my own, instead of converting it to non payment they told me I couldn’t (which isn’t true) and restarted the whole process with another 30 day notice. At the end of the 30 days I assumed they sent the petition and got a court date. When I followed up in about 50 days, the response I got was…. “Oh, yep yep, their notice is up, we will proceed” another delay which ended up costing me more money in the end in lost rent.
I hired Mr. Hinds to handle a simple nonpayment landlord-tenant eviction case. He began the process by serving the tenant and moving the case forward. However, when the tenant failed to appear in court, the lawyer was supposed to continue pursuing her and complete the necessary service of papers. Instead, he stopped taking action. Mr. Hinds is an amazing and knowledgeable eviction lawyer who got my commercial and residential tenant successfully evicted. I have been to 2 other attorneys who botched the eviction. Mr. Hinds went over and beyond to make sure our court proceedings went in my favor. As you know the NYC tenant/landlord laws are a mess and the pandemic made matters worse. Mr. Hinds was able to get my eviction done and successfully kept the non-rent paying tenants out when they tried to appeal. Hire Mr. Hinds for all of your eviction needs.
