My father was admitted to rehab after a fall a year ago and never recovered fully enough to return home, due to several serious health conditions. The long term care he now receives is exceptional. I live about 45 minutes away and visit 2-4 days a week at all different times, and find the facility very clean, and usually well staffed. The nurses are attentive and compassionate, and the aides are congenial with hearts of gold. The environment is bright, upbeat and friendly, both among staff and residents. My mom has been at the Highlands since November of 2024. I can’t express enough how grateful I am that everyone there is just so wonderful!! It starts with the woman at the front desk, to the aids, to the nurses( especially Kathy on the 3rd floor!!!!). We are really happy with how mom is being taken care of and how staff genuinely cares!
Staff was very professional, my brother is in good hands!
