The high road program has been very close to me over the years. I have been caught in a pattern of recidivism as well as alcoholism and the high road program has helped me to break those patterns they have offered me support peer counseling timely and efficient opportunities for me to cultivate a new life for myself that breaks me free from all of the aforementioned. Unfortunately Ive been a client for 3 yrs now. Most of the misunderstandings are cuz of me. And if they make mistakes, they're fixed. IDK who people are talking about that they say are rude, but I've never seen anything like that. Plus you're supposed to keep track of your own classes. We're all adults. They're not there to hold your hand and tell you what you have to do. They have hundreds of us to deal with. It's not they're fault you're stuck there.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is terrible Lisa in the front is so rude for no reason scuffs at you like if your the problem or over complicating her job. She does not take accountability for her mistakes and literally says oh it’s your fault. Like ma’m you do the schedule not me. I know the do it on purpose because there no other program out here unfortunately. No kind of people skills
I absolutely am thankful for the staff here as I am going on 2 years of being sober I am almost done with my 18 month program and I will definitely miss seeing and talking with Ms. Yvette and Angela. I was so excited when Sasha let me know that I can volunteer to sit in the classes even after I am done. They were so amazing they have inspired me to get into becoming a drug & alcohol counselor.
