My Mother has been a resident for close to six months, and it has been her favorite place since the day she moved in. I cannot even begin to describe how much the entire staff loves on all of the residents. Every time I go to visit, there is a fun activity going on somewhere in the building. I can’t say enough about the caregivers at The Heritage. My mother became a resident in March 2023, and they cared for her so well until she passed earlier this week. My mother was not an easy woman and could be downright mean. But the staff at the Heritage was always patient and kind with her. It is a very difficult job to care for those whose minds are weakened by age and disease, but they show up every day with a smile and a determination to make the lives of their residents as good as they can be. The staff here really care about the residents. I have witnessed compassion and kindness shown to each and every resident. The staff takes the time to engage with everyone and focuses on providing exceptional care. I love seeing how active the residents are and how eager they are to participate in activities. There is longevity in the management team and they really care about the residents. They work to maintain quality staff in order to provide the best care for everyone. I think this is a great community.

This location prioritizes profit over the well-being of its residents. The management company oversees four heritage sites in Clearlake, as well as Eldridge and Meyerland, all operating with a focus on financial gain rather than resident satisfaction. Consequently, they struggle to retain quality employees and to to grow census!
