My mom was a resident at the Hampton’s memory care facility for 15 months. I had previously given this institution a 5-star review. The Koelsch corporate office eliminated the bowel care of all residents at the end of 2024 but they did not communicate this change to the families of the residents. The prior plan was that there was a standing order for things like enemas, laxatives, etc. that the nurses could use as needed to keep the resident’s bowels moving. My loved one stays at The Ashley Inn for respite care. Bri, Angie, Melody and Mary are always very welcoming and very sweet to my loved one. They brighten my day which means a lot. Also, a big thank you to nurse Keely and all of the caregivers.
My experience with the Hampton and Ashley Inn has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and compassion. My mom has been a resident at the Hampton for about 10 months now. I’ve been waiting to write this until I felt I could give an informed and thorough review. I will preface this by saying that I care quite deeply that my mom receives good care, so I come at this with a discerning eye.
